Mehndi dresses for the loud night

Mehndi is the one night you're allowed to be loud: yellow, orange, mehndi-green, fresh pinks, multicolour. Pick something light you can dance in; skip the heavy zari, because you'll be on your feet till 2 am.

The only rule: leave the heaviest yellow-and-green combination to the bride's side if the family has a theme. Ask them before you buy.

Questions people ask

What colour should I wear to a mehndi?

Bright and warm: yellow, orange, mehndi-green, fresh pinks or multicolour, in something light enough to dance in. Check whether the family has a colour theme first.

Can I wear the same outfit to the mayun and the mehndi?

You can, if they're different crowds. If it's the same family both nights, most people change.
